Our Mission: "Go, and make disciples of all people, and proclaim the Gospel to everyone!"
The men of the parish have an opportunity to meet each Saturday morning at 7:00 AM for a time of prayer and reflection, and delicious breakfast! Each session lasts about 1.5 hours. Mass is also available beginning at 8:30 AM. They usually meet for 8 weeks in the Fall, and again in the winter between Advent and Lent. All the men of the parish are invited to attend. If you have any questions please contact Deacon Joe Schroeder at 509-590-8628.
Each year as our religious education programs get underway for our children and youth, it is good to also reflect that our work as disciples involves learning about and encountering Christ in new ways for ourselves. This year, following our Wednesday evening Masses (6:00 PM every Wednesday, if you haven´t heard), we will have a series of presentations on our faith tradition, suitable for those who are interested in finding out more about the Church and her teachings. These initial classes are also good for just some basic "brush-up" classes for those who are hungering for a way to deepen what they already know.
The Vine is an Adult Fellowship Circle at St. Joseph Parish. The group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Youth Room in the east wing. The Vine is all about growing in the faith through fellowship and the sharing of experiences.
If you are interested in joining, please contact Kristina for details.Join the women of the parish on Friday mornings following the 9:00 AM Mass for an hour of prayer and reflection on the readings for the coming Sunday. They use Exploring the Sunday Reading as our resource, and copies are available. They meet in St Martin's Room, next door to the office.
