About New Hope

The New Hope Resource Center is a faith-based ecumenical social service organization. We are supported by local churches and by generous community contributions.

Their mission is to serve basic human needs in North Spokane County including the communities of Riverside, Elk, Chattaroy, Colbert, and Mead. They do this without prejudice or discrimination, following Christ's example.

In addition, they provide emergency food through the services of North County Food Pantry located in Elk, Washington.

St, Joseph's Social Justice Ministry coordinates the efforts between New Hope and St. Joseph. We operate the Wednesday evening hours at NHRC, as well as provide money and collectibles. If you want to help please contact Peggy Ellingson at (509) 464-1102.
